My name is Josh Fusco, and I’m the founder of Grind2Scholarships — a program built to guide student-athletes through one of the most important journeys of their lives: the college recruiting process.
Growing up, sports were more than just a game for me — they were a way of life. With the guidance of my father, the late Joe Fusco, I was taught the value of hard work, discipline, and perseverance from a young age. My dad believed that success doesn’t come from luck — it comes from preparation, consistency, and faith in your purpose. His lessons shaped me not only as an athlete, but as a man, and I carry his legacy in everything I do today.
Because of his guidance and belief in me, I was blessed to find success in my own athletic journey. But along the way, I also saw how many talented athletes struggled — not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked direction. I saw players with incredible potential miss out on opportunities simply because they didn’t know how to navigate the recruiting process, reach out to coaches, or present themselves the right way. That’s when I knew I wanted to help change that.
At Grind2Scholarships, I use my firsthand experience as a former college athlete to simplify the path for others. I work directly with athletes and families to create customized recruiting plans — from highlight reels and résumé building to college contact lists and professional email outreach. My goal is to make sure every athlete I work with has the tools, confidence, and strategy to get noticed and find the right fit — athletically, academically, and personally.
This isn’t just about getting a scholarship — it’s about building a mindset. It’s about teaching young athletes how to show up every day, how to stay focused when no one’s watching, and how to believe in themselves when things get tough.
My father taught me that the true measure of success is how many people you help along the way. Through Grind2Scholarships, I’m proud to continue his legacy — helping athletes turn their grind into opportunity, and their dreams into reality.
